Quanterrius Nelson, MS, LCDC

Hello! My name is Quanterrius Nelson, and I am honored to serve as a Clinical Supervisor. Although I am new to this organization, I am not new to the behavioral health and substance use treatment field. I earned my Master of Science in Addiction Counseling, am a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), and have completed post-master’s training in trauma. Throughout my career, I have been committed to helping individuals and families overcome challenges and build meaningful, lasting recovery.

I believe that every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect. My passion comes from working with individuals who are often among the most vulnerable in our communities and helping them realize that their past does not define their future. Watching someone regain hope, achieve personal goals, and experience freedom from addiction is one of the greatest rewards of my profession.

My therapeutic approach is person-centered and grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), strengths-based interventions, and trauma-informed care. I strive to meet each person where they are and provide a safe, supportive environment where healing can begin.

I also believe that diversity makes us stronger. Every client brings unique life experiences, cultures, identities, and perspectives that deserve to be honored and respected. I am committed to providing culturally responsive, inclusive care where every individual feels seen, heard, valued, and empowered.

What sets me apart is my patience, humility, and willingness to advocate for those I serve. I believe in walking alongside my clients, helping remove barriers, celebrating their progress, and reminding them that recovery is possible. It is a privilege to be part of each person’s journey, and I look forward to helping individuals discover hope, resilience, and the life they deserve.
