David Boothe serves as the Organizational Manager for Wings of the Future, NFP, where he oversees the organization’s operational infrastructure, financial systems, compliance initiatives, and administrative processes that support the delivery of high-quality trauma-informed services throughout California and Texas. With more than three decades of professional leadership experience spanning manufacturing, quality assurance, finance, laboratory operations, and organizational management, David brings a systems-driven approach that strengthens organizational efficiency, accountability, and long-term sustainability.

Throughout his career, David has developed extensive expertise in operational leadership, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, quality management systems, data analysis, and continuous process improvement. His experience includes implementing and maintaining internationally recognized standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and QC 080000, ensuring organizations consistently meet rigorous quality, environmental, and safety requirements. His background in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies has equipped him with the skills to streamline workflows, improve operational performance, reduce inefficiencies, and establish measurable organizational outcomes.

Prior to joining Wings of the Future, David built an accomplished career within the chemical and manufacturing industries, serving in leadership positions involving analytical chemistry, laboratory operations, quality assurance, process improvement, technical documentation, regulatory compliance, equipment validation, staff development, and safety management. His experience working within highly regulated environments cultivated exceptional attention to detail, risk management, and organizational excellence.

David later expanded his expertise into behavioral healthcare administration, where he managed billing operations, payroll administration, insurance verification, financial reconciliation, accounts management, and organizational reporting for a mental health practice. This unique combination of healthcare administration and corporate operations enables him to bridge clinical services with effective business management, ensuring organizational resources are utilized efficiently while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and nonprofit governance standards.

As Organizational Manager, David is responsible for overseeing internal operations, financial oversight, organizational compliance, policy implementation, operational systems, vendor coordination, and infrastructure development. He collaborates closely with executive leadership to build scalable organizational processes that support sustainable growth, fiscal responsibility, grant readiness, and high-quality service delivery. His leadership plays a critical role in developing the operational foundation necessary for Wings of the Future to expand its trauma-informed programs, behavioral health services, court-related interventions, and community outreach initiatives.
