Deep Inner Soul Healing™ at Wings of the Future NFP
Get Help with Our Substance Abuse & Trauma Recovery Program
healthier road to recovery
Healing from substance abuse is not just about stopping the behavior. It is about understanding the pain, stress, trauma, and survival patterns underneath it. At Wings of the Future, we help individuals move from survival to recovery through trauma-informed care, emotional regulation, self-empathy, family support, and long-term recovery planning.
This program supports adults & juveniles who are struggling with:
- Alcohol or substance use
- Relapse patterns
- Emotional dysregulation
- Trauma symptoms
- Shame and guilt
- Family conflict
- Stress, anxiety, or depression
- Difficulty maintaining recovery
- Low self-worth
- Feeling stuck in survival mode
Our Approach
Our substance abuse recovery services are built around the Deep Inner Soul Healing™ model, a trauma-informed recovery framework developed by Krystal Boothe, LCSW. This model helps clients understand that addiction is often connected to deeper wounds, including trauma, emotional pain, stress, grief, shame, and unmet needs.
We do not shame people for struggling. We help people understand what they have been trying to survive — and teach them healthier ways to heal.
Clients receive support in:
-
- Understanding addiction as a survival response
- Identifying triggers and warning signs
- Creating a Recovery Protection Plan™
- Building emotional regulation skills
- Healing shame and self-blame
- Practicing self-empathy
- Strengthening family and support systems
- Developing long-term recovery goals
- Creating purpose beyond survival
Services may include:
-
- Individual therapy
- Group recovery sessions
- Family recovery support
- Case management
- Relapse prevention planning
- Trauma-informed psychoeducation
- Emotional regulation skill building
- Aftercare planning

Phase 4
Aftercare, Reintegration & Legacy:
Clients create long-term recovery plans, strengthen support systems, and build a life rooted in purpose.
Why This Program Is Different
Many programs focus only on the substance use behavior. We go deeper. At Wings of the Future, we help clients understand:
- “What pain was I trying to escape?”
- “What did this behavior help me survive?”
- “What do I need now to heal?”
- “What kind of life do I want to build?”
Recovery is not just about abstinence. Recovery is about healing the whole person.
Start Your Recovery Journey
If you or someone you love is struggling with substance abuse, trauma, or repeated relapse patterns, support is available. You do not have to heal alone.
“I’m feeling like, I can talk openly and she has amazing advice and insight. I don’t feel alone in this anymore. I feel good for the first time in so many years. I appreciate Wings of the Future and what they can provide. I was afraid that this form of therapy wouldn’t be as comfortable as in person but, it seems more secure and private. I was skeptical but was pleasantly surprised. I would highly recommend it for everyone.”
