Markus Brown is an experienced substance abuse counselor with a strong background in addiction recovery support, mental health services, aftercare planning, crisis intervention, case management, and client-centered care. He has worked with individuals across detox, residential, outpatient, PHP, and IOP levels of care, supporting clients through recovery planning, relapse prevention, group therapy, individual counseling, family sessions, intakes, discharges, and psychosocial assessments.
In his previous role as an Aftercare Concierge Manager and Aftercare Counselor, Markus worked closely with executive leadership, therapists, clinical directors, nutritionists, and caseworkers to help clients transition successfully through the recovery process. His work included teaching recovery skills, healthy relationship skills, coping strategies, relapse prevention strategies, medication education, and the importance of continued aftercare services.
Markus brings experience in motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered support, crisis management, behavioral health, documentation, treatment planning, and client advocacy. His leadership background also includes years of supervisory and management roles, where he trained staff, coordinated daily operations, managed teams, and supported organizational workflow.
