Our mental health professionals guide you on your healing journey.
At Wings of the Future, NFP, we provide trauma-informed therapy for individuals, couples, children, and families. You can receive care through statewide telehealth from a private location anywhere in California.
We help clients navigate childhood trauma, relationship difficulties, family conflict, substance use concerns, and stressful life transitions. Together, we will identify your goals and develop practical steps toward emotional stability, healthier communication, and stronger relationships.
Individual, Couples, and Family Therapy
Our therapy services support clients in:
- Understanding how past experiences influence present emotions and relationships.
- Building skills to manage stress and regulate emotions.
- Setting boundaries and communicating needs clearly.
- Working through relationship conflict and recurring family patterns.
- Helping children and adolescents navigate emotional and family challenges.
Family Support and Court-Related Services
Some families need support beyond individual, couples, or family therapy. We offer services that help parents and children navigate family separation, rebuild trust, develop parenting skills, and address concerns involving conflict or substance use.
- Reunification therapy: Structured therapy for parents and children experiencing a strained or disrupted relationship. The process focuses on emotional safety, understanding concerns, addressing harmful patterns, and rebuilding trust when appropriate.
- Co-parenting support: Helps separated or divorced parents communicate about their children, manage disagreements, establish consistent expectations, and keep children out of adult conflict.
- Supervised visitation: Provides monitored visits between a parent and child when supervision is required or requested. A trained monitor observes the visit and follows established safety guidelines.
- Supervised exchanges: Provides a structured process for transferring children between parents, helping reduce direct contact and conflict during pickups and drop-offs.
- Parenting education: Teaches practical skills for understanding child development, setting age- appropriate limits, responding to challenging behavior, and strengthening the parent-child relationship.
- Anger management: Helps participants recognize triggers, identify early signs of escalation, regulate emotions, and respond to conflict without threats, aggression, or destructive behavior.
- Domestic violence intervention: Focuses on accountability for abusive or controlling behavior, its impact on partners and children, and developing respectful, nonviolent relationship skills.
- Substance use services: Includes assessments, individual and group support, and outpatient treatment options based on the participant’s needs. Services address substance use patterns, coping skills, relapse prevention, and recovery.
Services may be requested voluntarily or referred by a court or another agency. For court- ordered participation, our intake team reviews the order and confirms whether the requested program meets its requirements before enrollment. Availability and session format vary by service.
Care That Respects Your Values
Our approach combines evidence-based therapeutic methods with education about trauma and the nervous system. We help clients develop practical skills they can use in everyday life. Faith-informed support is available for clients who want to incorporate their Christian beliefs into care. We respect each client’s beliefs, preferences, and treatment goals.
