Berenice Mendoza holds a Master of Social Work from Brescia University and is licensed as an LMSW and LCDC I. She is currently completing clinical supervision toward her clinical licensure. With several years of experience in community and clinical settings, Berenice brings both practical expertise and a compassionate presence to her work.
Drawn to therapy by a deep curiosity about how people heal and grow after hardship, Berenice’s early volunteer and community-based roles revealed how meaningful, practical support can transform lives. That conviction continues to guide her practice: she is committed to creating a safe, respectful space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to pursue their goals.
Berenice’s approach is integrative and collaborative. She primarily draws on cognitive behavioral therapy while tailoring interventions to each person’s unique needs. She emphasizes skill building, emotional regulation, and practical strategies clients can use between sessions, while also attending to the deeper patterns that influence long-term wellbeing. Her work balances measurable, evidence-based techniques with attention to relational dynamics and personal strengths.
